“Solar PPM” Partners with “Central Pattana” to Develop Clean Energy Projects, Driving Sustainability Toward Net Zero

Solar PPM Co., Ltd. has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN) to promote a low-carbon society. This collaboration reinforces a shared commitment to sustainability by integrating advanced solar energy technology into eight Central Pattana shopping centers. The projects include Central Chiangmai, Central Chaengwattana, Central Pinklao, Central Rama 3, Central Rama 9, Central Samui, Central Nakhon Sawan, and Central Westville, with a total combined generating capacity of 9.22 MW.

This initiative aligns with Central Pattana’s sustainability roadmap to increase the proportion of renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The goal is to transition these locations into “Low Carbon Malls” as part of the company’s broader mission to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

Under this partnership, Mr. Chamnan Pornpilailuck, Executive of Solar PPM Co., Ltd., stated: “The solar energy projects—comprising Solar Rooftop and Solar Carport installations at Central shopping centers—cover a total area of over 44,000 square meters. With a total capacity of 9.22 MW, the investment value exceeds 250 million THB. The development spans eight locations: six projects are under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), where Solar PPM covers the full investment, utilizing our high-performance 600W SPPM ‘Made in Thailand’ solar panels. The remaining two projects are executed through Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) agreements, where the investment is managed by the client.”

These projects enable the client to utilize clean energy while reducing energy costs by more than 50 million THB per year. Furthermore, the initiative helps the organization reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 20,700 tons of $CO_2$ annually. This achievement aligns with the core objective of long-term carbon reduction and reflects a commitment to sustainable business practices across economic, social, and environmental dimensions.
