At Solar PPM, we recently had the opportunity to sit down and exchange perspectives with the management team of <\/span>Asia Jumbo Industries Co., Ltd.<\/b>, a company operating in the confectionery and candy manufacturing industry, including a wide range of packaging products. With production standards that meet both domestic and international market demands, Asia Jumbo Industries has also taken a strong interest in adopting clean energy as part of its long-term business strategy.<\/span><\/p>

For manufacturing businesses\u2014especially in the food and confectionery sector\u2014energy consumption is a major operational factor. This makes solar energy not just an environmental choice, but a practical solution that aligns well with the industry\u2019s needs.<\/span><\/p>

Why Clean Energy Matters in the Confectionery Industry<\/b><\/h3>

Today, solar energy is no longer viewed solely as a cost-saving tool. It plays a growing role in supporting environmental responsibility and responding to the increasing demand for efficient and sustainable energy use. For many businesses, investing in renewable energy has become a key part of strengthening competitiveness while building a positive corporate image.<\/span><\/p>

In this article, we share insights from our conversation with Asia Jumbo Industries\u2019 management about their decision to install a solar rooftop system with Solar PPM\u2014highlighting both the tangible business benefits and the broader value created through this collaboration.<\/span><\/p>

Why did Asia Jumbo Industries choose Solar PPM?<\/b><\/h2>

Asia Jumbo Industries Management:<\/b>
<\/b> \u201cAt the beginning, we were considering two or three solar companies that approached us. We reviewed each company\u2019s profile carefully. What stood out about Solar PPM was that they manufacture their own solar panels. We compared several factors\u2014some companies had experience with large corporate projects, but they were using imported panels, mainly from China.<\/span><\/p>

One key reason we chose Solar PPM was that their panels are manufactured in Thailand. Price was also an important factor, but having locally produced panels gave us more confidence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

How did you first learn about Solar PPM?<\/b><\/h2>

Asia Jumbo Industries Management:<\/b>
<\/b> \u201cOne of our company directors recommended Solar PPM. He had seen their work on YouTube and mentioned that they produce their own panels. At that point, I had already contacted a few providers, but after hearing that, I decided to reach out to Solar PPM to learn more.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

How has installing solar helped support your business?<\/b><\/h2>

Asia Jumbo Industries Management:<\/b>
<\/b> \u201cThe electricity cost reduction was very noticeable. We installed the system about two years ago, during a time when the Ft rate was extremely high and electricity prices had increased significantly. That situation really pushed us to make the decision.<\/span><\/p>

That year, we didn\u2019t have plans to invest in anything else, so we decided to allocate the budget to solar instead. From my perspective, solar is one of the simplest investments. Once it\u2019s installed, there\u2019s not much you need to do\u2014just let the sun do its job.<\/span><\/p>

Even if the payback period is around five to six years, that\u2019s still very reasonable. It\u2019s an investment that feels manageable and worthwhile.\u201d<\/span><\/p>

What impressed you most about working with Solar PPM?<\/b><\/h2>

Asia Jumbo Industries Management:<\/b>
<\/b> \u201cThe support team has been very good. Toward the end of last year, we discovered that part of the roof where the panels were installed had deteriorated. Our factory technicians reported that some roof sheets needed to be replaced.<\/span><\/p>

We informed Solar PPM, and they were very supportive throughout the process. Their response and assistance were reassuring.\u201d<\/span><\/p>
